It's official: Shear Madness closed its run at The Kennedy Center in June, and the Center's uncertain future means it may be gone for years.

After losing one of DC's most popular evening entertainment activities, tour operators are now contacting the groups that regularly attended Shear Madness with the bad news. A small handful of options remain. Baltimore's Medieval Times and Columbia's Toby's Dinner Theatre both work great with tours, but both are a considerable bus drive to and from DC.

Fortunately, The Magic Duel Comedy Show remains a 5-star entertainment option, and our flexibility of performance spaces helps us work with groups staying in DC, Maryland, or Virginia. In addition to offering private performances at a tour group's hotel, we have performance venues available throughout the District/Maryland/Virginia area for your convenience. We also have partnerships with great venues like Pinstripes Georgetown and P.J. Skidoos in Fairfax, VA, making dinner AND a show an option.
