The Magic Duel Comedy Show appears at several venues throughout the DC area. Please confirm your location prior to coming.

There is nothing that makes us sadder than having audience members arrive 30 minutes after the show has started because they went to the wrong venue. We don't own a theater, so are subject to the availability of the venues we use. So unfortunately, we can't simply say, "Fridays are at Pinstripes, and Saturdays are at The Glover Park Hotel." Every weekend is different. Please be sure that the tickets you purchase are for the venue you want to attend, and that you know where you are going on the show night.  Thanks and we will see you there.

The National Union Building

The National Union Building is a historic 1890 Romanesque Revival structure located at 918 F Street Northwest in Washington DC's Penn Quarter neighborhood. It features original brickwork, cathedral-like ceilings, and charming period details that create a historic character with gorgeous vintage elements like exposed brick, antique timber, and pressed tin ceiling tiles, evoking both grandeur and intimate warmth throughout its seven floors.  The Building is just steps away from both the Metro Center and the Gallery Place Red Line Metro stations.

FAQ

  • What is the Dress Code?

    Most of our current venues are quite casual, hence your dress can be too. Nice jeans are fine; nice shorts are OK during the summer. Most of our guest dress in what is commonly called "business casual." 


    Of course, when we are doing shows at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, we hope you will dress elegantly (Cocktail attire is a common term) and enjoy the exceptional atmosphere at The Ritz-Carlton.

  • Can I Hire The Magic Duel?

    I'm so glad you asked. Click here! The Magic Duel entertains at dozens of corporate and association events each year, including several team building meetings. We are also one of the top evening entertainment choices for School Tour Groups visiting DC.

  • Can We Bring Our Kids?

    The Magic Duel is a show for adults that kids (around 10 and up) will also enjoy. It is not designed for kids, but there are almost always a few kids in the audience and they always have a great time. Please sit with your kids to ensure they are on their best behavior. The humor in the show is PG rated.

  • What's the parking situation?

    Parking in the DC area can be a challenge. We recommend the SpotHero app to find the closest parking at the best price.

  • Can We Order Beverages at the Event?

    Yes, and we encourage it!


    At The National Union Building, there is a suggested 2-item minimum in addition to your ticket.


    If you'd like a drink before or to take into the show at our other venues, be sure to come a little early, say 15 to 20 minutes. If everyone tries to get drinks at the bar right before the curtain, some of you will miss the opening of the show.

  • Are The Venues Handicap Accessible?

    They are, but Pinstripes Georgetown is the most challenging access-wise. Please give us a heads up and we'll have good seats for you and your group. Call 202-262-3617 at least a day before the show. If going to Pinstripes Georgetown, give them a call to discuss your best options.
